Meet our Director

I am Fabiola Monje, National Director of Internationalization at UPB, recognized as the best private university in Bolivia, with campuses in Cochabamba, La Paz, and Santa Cruz.

Founded in 1993, we offer a growing number of courses in English, such as the "Latin American Young Leadership" (LEAP) program for business and the "Latin American Research Semester" (Laureate) for engineering students.

We have two faculties: FACED y FIA.

Undergraduate students are required to take the TOEFL before graduating, while this requirement does not apply to graduate students. International students, meanwhile, have opportunities to travel, learn about Bolivian culture, and enjoy its cuisine.

At the Cochabamba campus, you can participate in the LEAP and Laureate programs, which are one-semester programs taught in English.

“Each year, as part of our partnership, UPB offers one scholarship for the London Summer School. This scholarship partially covers tuition, accommodation, and food. The program lasts approximately 2-3 months in London, providing a unique academic and cultural experience”.

Master's Scholarships at the London School of Economics (LSE)
“For students in the EMFSS program, there are also limited scholarships available for on-campus Master's degrees at LSE. These scholarships are highly competitive, as they are awarded based on academic merit among students from all Recognized Teaching Centers (RTCs) worldwide”.
